Black Daruma plot

"Real men make their own luck"

Ryan, a thirty-something struggling with unemployment, impulsively buys a Japanese Daruma lucky charm in the hope that his future will improve. When Ryan starts talking to Mr. Lucky, takes him to bed and even takes him to a job interview, his girlfriend Louise becomes concerned about his psychological state. But the more she tries to separate him from Mr. Lucky, the more horror erupts in their home. Will Louise find a way to bring Ryan back from his madness or is it only a matter of time before the Black Daruma has his terrifying way with her too?
