Kanka do Pohádky plot

For her eighth birthday, Vendulka receives a beautiful picture book by Josef Lada, a well-known painter in Czechoslovakia, who lived from 1887 to 1957. On the first page is a handwritten message and under the signature is a large ink stain. The girl tries to wipe the stain, but suddenly the eraser she is wiping with is gone. Her shoe also disappears and ends up in her brother Ondra's room. All the drawings become life-size and the girl discovers that she can make the people and animals of the drawings alive by touching them.
