Gospodin Oformitel plot

In this surreal take on Pygmalion from 1920s St. Petersburg, a famous artist and decorator, Platon Andreevich, strives to find the secret of eternal life through the beautiful mannequins he creates. His latest masterpiece is based on a young dying girl. Years later, he meets the wife of a wealthy merchant, who looks just like the dead girl he used as a model for his masterpiece. The artist becomes obsessed with uncovering the woman's mysterious past, which puts him in grave danger.
