Certova Nevesta plot
In a faraway land live a king and queen who cannot have children. The queen then makes a pact with the devil to conceive after all. She gives birth to a beautiful daughter and they live happily for sixteen years, until the devil comes to claim his share of the trade. He turns the princess into a black ghost and takes her as a bride. The king asks all the knights to free her, but no one wants to fight the dark forces. Only Štěpán, the princess' childhood friend, vows to free her.
