Timgad plot

Jamel, a French archaeologist of Algerian descent, travels to Algeria to excavate the grand ruins near the Roman town of Timgad. The past unfolds before him as the present takes him by surprise as he is bombed to become the trainer of the local football club "La Juventus de Timgad". He has eleven 12-year-old players: boys who lead a gray life, who have no jersey or shoes, but who are brimming with talent. Between remnants of antiquity and wounds from more recent struggles, Jamel discovers the strange twists and turns of roots and growing pains of an Algeria on its way to reconciliation... as football champion.
