The Blimp Trap plot
Nine-year-old Harwood is not like the other boys in 1977 Texas. After his brother dies in a tragic accident, his mother has become an alcoholic and Harwood finds comfort in the also nine-year-old mentally retarded Billy. Together they keep seeing a famous zeppelin flying overhead and they design a 'zeppelin trap' to catch it. They are bullied for this and their special friendship, but one day something special happens.
