I'm not a fan of such children's films, but this one was not too bad. It was therefore a coincidence that I watched this. Of course it's cheesy and quite childish, but I still secretly laughed a few times. Rodriquez comes up with all kinds of strange findings and that is original and fun. For example, when someone turned into a frankfurter, so simple, but still fun.

Decent children's film with a number of nice moments, but overall the film is not interesting enough. The man who had the leading role was not convincing at all and all that remains are a few nice supporting roles and The walking crocodiles. .

Conceptually quite nice and Robert Rodriguez's direction moves energetically with the scenes, but the substantive development is so simplistic that you can hardly take the moral seriously. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of that within Shorts, so this was definitely not a positive viewing experience for me. Fortunately, the child actors do a reasonable job, but the adults look uncomfortable and are relegated to caricatured supporting roles. The icing on the cake is that Rodriguez once again makes no effort to present his large-scale computer effects in a well-thought-out manner, so the film quickly gives the impression that it was made to make quick money and move straight on to the next project.
