Kujira no Shima no Wasuremono plot

Aimi lost her mother in the 1995 Kyoto earthquake and was orphaned as a result. She moved to Okinawa to watch the whales jump out of the water again, something she used to do with her mother. She is tired of life and doesn't like it anymore. Then she meets the Vietnamese Koa Guen, who has come to work there for an IT company and who misses his hometown.
