Sam is an 18 year old aspiring musician who has just lost her older sister Amber. During the difficult grieving process, Sam finds comfort in singing and writing songs - fulfilling the dreams Amber could never pursue now. Along with Amber's band, Sam moves to Nashville to pursue Amber's dream of a career in the music industry. Upon arrival, they sign with a music manager who brings them instant success, but at a price. As the taste of fame approaches, tensions within the band begin to mount.
