Words, Planets plot

This film applies the six compositional principles from “Opinions on Painting by the Monk of the Green Pumpkin,” written by eighteenth-century Chinese painter Shih-T'ao and referenced in Raúl Ruíz's essay “For a Shamanic Cinema”. In scenes with non-actors and with texts by RDLaing and Lucy Lippard, for example, 'calling attention to a scene emerging from a static background' or 'add scattered dynamism to immobility'.
