Eat plot

Filmed as a series of short fragments, Eat is a film about an eating man. That man is Robert Indiana, fellow artist and friend of Warhol. He eats one mushroom during the film. As far as Warhol is concerned, the focus is on looking at the image, not on a narrative. The fact that Indiana ate not one, but several mushrooms during the shooting of the film is irrelevant in this regard.
