The introverted Yoon-hee is a single mother. Since her divorce, she lives with her teenage daughter Sae-bom. One day, Yoon-hee receives a letter from Otaru in Japan, which is also secretly read by her daughter. While Yoon-hee never said anything about the past, the letter reveals that she used to have a lover before she married Sae-bom's father. She manages to persuade her mother to travel together to snowy Otaru under the guise of a short vacation...
