Hülya is a young Turkish woman, who against her will has to live with her uncle in Turkey. One day she runs away to return to her hometown in Germany. But first she has to go on a fascinating journey through Turkey, where she meets many different people. She arrives at a psychiatric institution, where time seems to have stopped.
