Xiangnu Xiaoxiao plot

China, 1900, twelve-year-old Xiaoxiao comes to a mountain village for an arranged marriage with two-year-old Chunguan. In the village people live by the strict clan rules and Xiaoxiao becomes the nanny of her toddler husband, who calls her 'sister'. Years later, Xiaoxiao meets the worker Huagou and the two begin a passionate affair. To Xiaoxiao's horror, one day she turns out to be pregnant by him.
