With Hostile Intent plot

Miranda Berkley (Melissa Gilbert) becomes the first female officer to be assigned to the Long Beach Police Department's exclusive K-9 dog squad. She soon discovers that there is no such thing as emancipation here. She is thwarted, harassed and sabotaged by her male colleagues. During a training, she is attacked by a dog and no one comes to her aid. Frustrated, she resigns. She meets Kathy Arnold (Mel Harris), who is having similar experiences, after she refused to give in to a co-worker's sexual harassment. They take the matter to court.
