Wish plot
When Jjang-gu goes to high school for the first time in Busan, he becomes a member of the youth gang 'the Monsters'. Not because he necessarily wants this, but more because this is obvious for a boy of that age. During his time within 'the Monsters' he is shaped into a man. Based on the childhood of protagonist Woo Jung.
