Whirlpool plot
Lora is the girlfriend of a petty criminal. She wants to leave him, but makes no effort until he shoots a policeman. She flees and goes on the Rhine aboard a German tanker. The captain, first mate and a sailor are very fond of her, but after her last experience she shuns them all. Problems arise when one of the women on board is overcome with jealousy. Things get even worse when Lora's ex-boyfriend, now on the run from the police, also comes aboard the tanker.
