"If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere."
One morning, when Riley should be at school, her mother Angie hears a cell phone ringing from her bedroom. She soon discovers that Riley left her phone behind. She answers Riley's best friend Mackenzie's third attempt to reach someone. After Angie asks if Riley is with her, she realizes that Mackenzie was about to ask the same thing. Shortly afterwards, Angie checks the master closet and discovers that Riley's shoes are still there. Did she leave in the middle of the night or disappear into thin air?
