Waterproof plot
"Eli Zeal is about to learn that to err is human... and to forgive divine."
Eli, a Washington DC store owner, is accidentally shot during a robbery. The perpetrator is Thaniel, the son of taxi driver Tyree. To keep Thaniel out of the hands of the police, Tyree decides to take the injured Eli to her family in Waterproof, Louisiana.
