Wakiyaku Monogatari plot

Hiroshi is a mediocre actor who is always cast in small roles. He is only known for being so often mistaken for other people, including a kidnapper. He suffers from his ordinary life, partly because he is overshadowed by his father, who is a famous playwright. Then he meets actress Aya and falls head over heels in love. She inspires him to compete with his father and audition for a lead role.
