Wajib plot
Abu Shadi is a 65-year-old divorced teacher who lives in Nazareth. He is preparing his daughter's wedding. In a month he will live alone. Shadi, his son, who has been an architect in Rome for years, returns for a few days to help him distribute the wedding invitations from hand to hand, as is the Palestinian custom of Wajib. As they visit friends and family, tensions between father and son surface and they test their differing views on life.
