Visit to a Chief's Son plot

An anthropologist takes his son to the Maasai in Africa to record their rituals during a solar eclipse. Upon arrival and first acquaintance, the two are very oblivious to the locals. But gradually they get to know the friendly tribe better and they even become friends with the chief and his son.
