Vchera plot
Communist Bulgaria in the late 1960s. Ivan and his best friend Rostislav attend a conservative anglophone Bulgarian elite school. The teachers at the school have strict rules and do not give the students room to be themselves. This does not stop the students from coming into contact with forbidden influences such as Beatles music, drugs and sex. An incident at the school causes the students to revolt against the authoritarian leadership. However, the leadership is determined to crush this protest with an iron hand.
