Uta plot
The Moriyama family has traditionally been established in Kyoto with ten trillion yen worth of mountain land assets. The 70-year-old head of the family, Ihee, lives with his wife Hisano and the servant Hama. His eldest son Yasu is married to Natsuko who is sexually frustrated in their marriage. The second son Toru is nowhere to be found and the youngest son Jun works for Ihee. Jun has an affair with Natsako and Toru suddenly reappears with the message that the family money will soon run out.
