Underexposure plot

Underexposure takes a look at the lives, feelings and thoughts of the people of Iraq during the turbulent days immediately after the American invasion. With one foot in the past and death as a constant companion for the future, the new reality brings friends, lovers and strangers together. Maysoun, loved by her brother and her lover, seeks refuge in her sexuality. Hassan finds comfort in the thought that his films will survive the cancer that consumes his body. Homeless Nassir has only a few bags of brightly colored rags in his possession. He experiences a sense of friendship and responsibility for the first time when he finds a dying Iraqi soldier.
