"Love... on one condition"

17-year-old twins Kristen and Owen live with their ailing mother in the suburbs of a northern English town. It is a warm family, but the two want something else than to continuously take care of their mother and they long for a less boring life of their own. Then Liam visits to discuss a financial loan. He is strong, charming, good-looking and a real man of the world. Kirsten immediately falls for him and begins to dream about living with him apart from her family. But Liam invites her brother Owen over for a drink. Slowly Owen also falls for him and is very flattered with his attention and gives in to his own feelings.
