Una Vita Violenta plot

Una Vita Violenta is an adaptation of Pier Paolo Pasolini's second novel (1959), which Pasolini used for his debut film Accattone (1961). The story is set in the outskirts of Rome, where the underclass of criminals and prostitutes tries to break free from the hopelessness of existence. The lead role is played by Franco Citti, who also played the lead role in Accattone a year earlier.
