Umbartha plot

"A Stepping Stone for a woman..."

Sulabha Mahajan is a woman who would like to play a role in society and broaden her horizons beyond the four walls of the house. She is offered a job as an overseer in a home for women who have fallen out of society in a remote town. Her husband doesn't like it and her mother-in-law doesn't understand it at all. Only her sister-in-law supports her by offering to babysit her daughter Rani. Sulabha then decides to persevere and follow her dream.
