Tulennielijä plot
The sisters Irene and Helena have never known their father and are also abandoned by their mother shortly after birth. Mother runs off with a German soldier and the two stay behind with their grandmother. When they end up in an orphanage after their grandmother's death, their mother picks them up again to work in a circus. Together they travel through Europe to eventually end up in Helsinki.
