Todesstrafe - Ein Deutscher Hinter Gittern plot

German journalist Corinna (Claudia Michelsen) travels to the United States to write a story about German tourist Klaus (Jan Josef Liefers), who is sentenced to death for murdering his wife. Slowly the two come closer together, after which Corinna becomes convinced of his innocence. Together with his lawyer Steven (Calvin Burke), she searches for new evidence to free him as the date of execution approaches.
