Thunder Mountain plot
"A DRAMA OF LOVE IN THE HILLS OF HATE"
Sam Martin grows up in the mountains of Kentucky. His best friend is a preacher. He leaves his hometown to go to school. After his return, he wants to build a school so his fellow villagers can also receive an education. He asks the miser Si Pace for a loan, but in vain. The artist Azalea ends up in the area after leaving the circus. Sam and she fall in love. She causes a scandal when she tries to secure a loan by dancing for Si. When Si is murdered shortly afterward, suspicion immediately falls on Sam.
