This Place plot
One of the best aspects of living in Toronto is that the city has become a melting pot of different cultures and communities. This film tells a love story about two young women - one Iranian, the other Tamil - living in Toronto and dealing with difficult family legacies. Kawenniióhstha and Malai both have their family problems, but it all fades away when they find each other. Their relationship starts in a rather unconventional way and then blossoms naturally as if they have known each other for years.
