The Trap plot
A Yukon schoolteacher promises to marry a wealthy prospector, but instead marries his evil brother. After her husband disappears and is reported dead, she marries a wealthy New York stockbroker, but does not tell him about her first marriage. She is soon contacted by someone who threatens to tell her new husband everything about her past if she does not pay.
