The Question plot

Dr. Rundel has dedicated his life to developing a formula that will revolutionize the medical world. Fearing that his assistant, John Stedman,'s romance with Martha Wainwright will hinder the formula's progress, Rundell forces Stedman to sign an agreement that stipulates that he will postpone the marriage until after the formula is completed.
