The Playboys plot

Tara Maguire, a young woman, becomes the scandal of her Irish village by giving birth to an illegitimate child, in the 1950s. She is a beauty coveted by several men, including Sergeant Hegarty. Things get heated when a theater company visits the town and she falls in love with one of the actors.
