The Memsahib plot

India 1851. Grace Roberts, an English teacher and memsahib, marries Raja Jai Rathod, a philanthropist. Devoted to each other and to their work, they decide to take a journey, in order to meet people and their ideals. Grace is busy teaching the girls English at school, while Jai is suspected of being remarkably sympathetic to the growing group of Britons. This is also the group Grace doesn't trust. Yet nothing separates the two.
