The Cloud Door plot
A smart parrot who can talk lives in a Hindu palace surrounded by many beautiful girls, but the parrot escapes and is captured by a bird trader far from the palace. One day, while the new owner is asleep, the parrot convinces the poor young man Ratnasen to open the cage door. The animal claims to know the name of its old lover. In return, the parrot shows the boy a secret passage to enter the palace so that he can get in touch with the beautiful princess Kurangi.
