The Alternative plot

"As sensitive as it is provocative..."

Melanie Hilton is the editor of a women's magazine that is now suffering from a declining popularity. She has to team up with newcomer Noel in the hopes that their magazine will become more successful with the youth. She's also struggling now that her selfish boyfriend is abandoning her. Although she had no intention of marrying him, she is pregnant and does not want to have an abortion. And because of that, she comes into conflict with friends, family and colleagues.
