Emma is a respected psychologist with a mysterious and not so easy past, who practices online during a lockdown. But as people leave home again after lockdown, Emma continues to work from her flat, hitting her treadmill mornings and evenings, even during video calls with her patients. She hardly leaves the house anymore and her idiosyncratic way of working is starting to cause her a lot of discomfort. Everything changes when, after twenty-six years, Emma's younger sister makes a surprising request.
