Swing Man plot

Mizuho Kida, a young unsuccessful actor, wakes up in a bed in a hospital. He remembers almost nothing, but he seems to have been hit with a baseball bat. Irritated by the slow police investigation, he begins to question witnesses to the incident himself, hoping this will help him regain his memory. However, to his frustration and that of Aki, his girlfriend, he does not get any further. However, a final witness, a mysterious girl who reports to Aki, seems to hold the key to Mizuho's questions.
