Stein plot

The once famous stage actor Stein stepped off the stage for good in 1968 in protest against the invasion of Czechoslovakia during the performance of 'King Lear'. For twenty years he lives in self-imposed isolation and has only contact with children and young people from the neighbourhood, whom he gives free access to his villa on the outskirts of Berlin. Then in 1989 the 'Wende' takes place and a lot changes.
