Springflod plot
Franco, like so many teenagers, gets into trouble from time to time. He has too much energy, too many dreams and too few real relationships. He gets into trouble with the authorities in Copenhagen, who have therefore shipped him to a foster family in the Jutland swamps, close to the German border. There he is now under the watch of an easy-going border guard who isn't particularly concerned about the occasional immigrant escaping his attention. In addition, he learns that the man has a daughter who keeps sheep, plays the trombone and dreams of traveling to America. Before long, the two fall in love, causing a series of adventures and misadventures, resulting in their (temporary) separation.
