Spiker plot

A group of young athletes is invited to join the US national volleyball team. Sonny behaves rather arrogantly. When he notices that the coach barely compliments him, he looks for excuses in going out and girls. He is less and less concerned with the discipline that belongs to top sport. His position with the team is under pressure.
