Six Days plot
After her husband's death, Olive Kingston wants her daughter Laline to marry the wealthy and distinguished Lord Charles Chetwyn. Laline accepts her fate, but first travels to Paris where she meets Dion Leslie, a friend of her brother. Her brother died in World War I and they visit his grave together. They also go to the trenches where he fought. But, once inside, the front collapses and they are trapped. They sit there for six days and develop feelings for each other.
