Sinjar plot
'Sinjar' tells the story of three women whose fates become intertwined. It starts when a Yazidi mother and her children are kidnapped by IS in the border region of Syria and Iraq. Daughter Arjin joins the resistance to find her family. In the second storyline, Mother Hadia is now the prisoner of an older potentate. And then there's Carlota, the Spanish woman who goes in search of her radicalized son Marc, who has joined IS in Iraq.
