Sin Dejar Huella plot
Aurelia is a single mother with two children, Juan aged six and a small baby. Her maternity leave is almost over: she has to go back to the assembly line. However, she thinks her baby is too young to entrust to a nanny, and she can't count on her boyfriend, who works for a bunch of drug smugglers. She impulsively decides to travel with her children from the violent Ciudad Juarez, in the extreme north of Mexico, to the touristy southeast. On the way she sees Ana, who is hitchhiking along the highway. Ana works in the art trade and is followed by the police who suspect she is smuggling. Partly out of female solidarity, but mainly because on the basis of Ana's expensive clothes she expects that she will share in the costs of the trip, Aurelia takes Ana along.
