Simple Things plot
To maintain his position as senior pediatrician at a top Chicago hospital, Dr. Evan Gibbs (Cameron Bancroft) set up a clinic in a small village in the mountains of North Carolina during the summer months. Clashing with the villagers' narrow-minded ways, he must reunite after the recent loss of his wife and reconnect with his 10-year-old son (Aidan Mitchell). The way of life in his new living environment demands from him a different rhythm of life than he was used to.
