Shadow Play plot
"Frightened by the future, haunted by the past...The two worlds of Morgan Hanna are about to shatter."
Morgan Hanna wakes up in the middle of the night after nightmares about the sudden death of her fiancé Jeremy seven years ago. She struggles to write a comedy play and struggles to find inspiration. After receiving a heartfelt letter from her future mother-in-law inviting her to return to the Northwest where the tragedy occurred, Morgan chooses to face what she is running from and stays with Jeremy's mother who is also affected by his death and the death of her own husband. Settling in, Morgan begins writing a play about the loss of her beloved, and the text takes on an almost supernatural tone. Morgan begins to see Jeremy's reflection in windows and mirrors.
