See You, Amsterdam plot

During her transit at Schiphol, the Ghanaian Nana Ama finds out that she has false papers. Her dream of building a new life in the United States is shattered. She escapes from the authorities and ends up as an illegal immigrant in the Amsterdam Bijlmer, where she is included in the Ghanaian community. She tries to earn her money by cleaning and she works in the market, but the Netherlands turns out not to be a country of roses and moonshine. Nana is scammed by a Ghanaian woman, who refuses to pay her black-earned salary.
