Sandra, C'est la Vie plot

Sandra is a sixteen-year-old mentally handicapped girl. Her mother got her when she was the same age and left her first in the care of her parents and later in a home. The moment Sandra has to leave the orphanage, it doesn't matter, because her mother just got a new suitor. She tells him that Sandra is her youngest sister, whom she has to take care of. In the mother's small apartment, Sandra is not allowed to leave her room.
